The headphone jack for my Samsung NP355v5c laptop has stopped working. It worked fine until I stripped down the laptop to replace the processor; after putting it back together it doesn't work. The internal speakers work fine. You'd think this was because of the ribbon wasn't connected, but here's the catch: the microphone jack works, however the headphone jack doesn't, and they're on the same circuit-board and ribbon. Any ideas on what I should do next?
EDIT: I had another look at the motherboard connectors, and found that the ribbon was only partially connected, so the microphone jack wasn't being recognized. Hopefully this will help anyone else.
