Looking to buy a mechanical keyboard around a UNDER £100.

So far the best bets appear to be the CM storm quickfire ultimate and the razer blackwidow ultimate.

Razer looks better, has macros, and also a USB passthrough and headphone jack which I find really cool.BUT, the version with LED's is just over my budget, and I would have to buy the version with LED's. Also, it doesant have cherry mx switches, even though they have switches which are close enough. Although the key switches only come in two types, loud or silent (essentially brown or blue)

The CM storm is much cheaper, and has mechanical switches, and a nice LED backlight. Also has a wide variety of switches, including browns which is the switch I am after.BUT, no macros, and personnally it doesant look as good as the razer (though still looks good).

Cant decide, need some help. Thanks.

Sounds like you've already made up your own mind. Everything you say seems to indicate that you're leaning towards the Razer, which is a pretty solid choice. The CM might be cheaper, but you can look at it as paying a premium for the USB passthrough, headphone jack, and macro keys for the Razer. Honestly, just pick whatever you like better. A keyboard—or any peripheral—can get the greatest reviews, but reviews can't account for all the variables because they're based on the reviewer's own experiences with it. In the end, they're both just keyboards; choose the one that appeals to you, that you wouldn't mind looking at and using every day.
