I have been having an annoying issue where my computer seems to be using a high amount of Memory/CPU (and sometimes Disk), yet I don't have much open. I open up task manager, and I compare the processes being run with the amount of memory/cpu that is being used, and it never adds up:
As you can see, about 3.2 GB are unaccounted for. The CPU usage is unaccounted for either. These are not *exact* screen shots. There is a slight time lag inbetween them.
I've been having this problem for awhile. I use to have 100% disk usage, and I ended up shutting down "Superfetch" and it fixed that issue. From my research, I've heard something about "memory leaks" or "memory dumps". I also disabled "NDU" from the start in registry editor.
The longer I am on my computer, the more the memory seems to hike up.
I first noticed this because the memory would get so high and the sound would get slightly distorted and my mouse would start lagging.
