Reinstall Windows 8.1 in UEFI mode, is it worth it?

So I bought Windows 8.1 OEM SL but I noticed that I installed the os with BIOS. I'm missing any thing really good from UEFI? I mean besides the fast boot (which I think is really fast even with BIOS) and the possibility of use 2TB HDD (I'm using just 1TB). I mainly use this pc for gaming. There will be any performance improvement?

Even more important I could even reinstall my windows 8.1? I just read Windows FAQ and the good fellows have changed the User License again so my installation is tied to my mobo (W7 and w8.1 OEM are tied to mobo and illegal to personal use - loving you MS).

In a side question (maybe is too early to now this but here I go): when W10 will be released and I do the free upgrade what would happen with the key? I will have a new one? what if I replace my mobo. Will I need to buy a W10 license?

Yes, you can reinstall your OS.

Windows 10, you will have a 'new' license key. Completely unknown as to what happens with your existing Windows 8.1 key. MS has not said anything about this yet.

But doubtful you will end up with two valid license keys, Win 8.1 and Win 10. After all...you only bought one.
