Hey! thanks for reading this. I have a couple questions, i have Crosshair V formula-Z motherboard and AMD 8370 processor, i really want to get up to 4.8Ghz even 4.6 is fine i guess.. I'm wondering will a Hyper 212 evo will be enough for cooling? i mean, the h100i is good, but my budget is pretty low considering the hyper 212 is like 30 bucks.

my case: cm storm enforcer
maybe replace with a different fan? i'm not sure where to start.
thanks again!

The EVO is a good cooler, but I don't think it would be enough for +4.6GHz. Most people I see get to 4.4GHz or so, but beyond that, it's unfortunately still an entry level cooler.

A cheaper option would be to consider a larger air cooler, like one of the Noctua coolers. They tend to be cheaper than the AIO liquid coolers, but they take up a lot of space. There are also cheaper options in this section, but sadly I don't remember them too well :p
