I have a weird problem with my labtops where they would randomly act as if the control key is pushed down. I tried searching online for solutions but the only things I have found are sticky keys (which I have already confirmed is off) and reinstalling my keyboard driver (which I have done multiple times which has not helped).
Basically, 95% of the time, my computer functions perfectly well. However, occasionally, when I am typing, my computer will start acting as if the control key is pressed down (I.e. if I try to type the word "act", the computer would instead just do select all, cut, open new tab). I have to hit the control key a few times which would fix the problem although it would keep coming back after a few days. Does anyone have any other ideas why this might be happening?
