dear all,

thanks in advance for your advise. i have been searching the web for safest way to wipe/erase ssd.
i have been looking at dban which can be found here. is this safe? just wanna wipe/erase all data.
please advise

There are quite a number of secure-erase utilities online, but better look at your SSD manufacturer's website for such a tool. Keep in mind, though, that secure-erasing an SSD will restore it back to the condition you bought it in.

However, I think a quick format will be just as sufficient. Just go to Disk Management and delete all partitions, it will save you the trouble to install any additional software.
