Hi guys Ive been having this problem for a few days now that Ive been tryign to fix on my own by searching for solutions online but now im up to that point that i dont know what to do anymore.

First I was on windows 8.1 I was reciveing errors like VIDEO_TDR_Failure and messages from heartsone like the game couldnt access to video card. After updating everything and gettting different drivers for my videocard ive decided to refresh the pc. When I did that It actually totally earesed windows 8.1 and im on windows 8 now. I didnt mind it since the laptop seemed to run better until now. P.S I didnt updated anything yet since all the problems started when i first downloaded the latest driver from NVIDIA 3 weeks ago and im too scared to update anything now.

My Laptop is a MSI GT70
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 675M 2GDDR5
12 GB DDR3 4*3
WINDOWS 8

Since the refresh there's only one file in my minidump and Im totally new to the docs sharing and minidumps files so hope you can open it. Heres the link tell me if it works

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-gf94MKax2-OWVkb1VwM2NKbjA&authuser=0

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ANY HELP!!!

UPDATE: I just ran memorytest86 it took freaking 14 hours to complete but atleast it found no errors

Now i got a new BSOD VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE
Heres the minidump https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-gf94MKax2-SWFJUnNzd...

Here s a link for the KernelLivereport dump

Solution
it looks like the stack was corrupted in nvidia code, it does not look like a driver bug, more like a malware attack on the system.

I would do a malwarebytes scan, then run cmd.exe as an admin then run
sfc.exe /scannow
and confirm that all file corruptions are corrected. if not then run
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
reboot and rerun the sfc.exe /scannow command

now go to the intel website and run intel driver update utility
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

***reboot your machine ***
then go to the nvidia website and update your graphics drivers
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
just select automatically find my drivers for nvidia products.
*** reboot your machine again***...

Can you try now sorry couldnt respond earlier i was running a memory test it took 14 hours

you will then have to go the the msi website and update the BIOS and the various chipset drivers (usb 3.0)
for your machine. to get updates for your USB 3.0 chips (usb 2.0 drivers should have been updated by intel)

when you get all the other third party drivers updated done, you will want to make sure you get the windows 8.1 updates applied and you should be set.

----------------
bugcheck was in nvidia code, but it looked like the stack was corrupted, something you would get with a Malware attack.

so run malwarebytes scan

remove your overclocking driver:

Ok ive run the malwarebyte and it found nothing infected.
Then I did the CMD.EXE and SFC.EXE /scannow it said windows have found some errors but it managed to correct them

Ive sent you a private msg for the drivers need to know should i first upgrade my windows 8 to 8.1 before getting them cuz they ll ask me for what OS i need them win 8 or 8.1

most of the drivers will be the same for window 8 and 8.1 except some mouse drivers.
go ahead and update to windows 8.1 and update the other drivers. Just be sure to reboot after you run the windows updates.

as long as you can run a BIOS update tool, the version of windows would not matter. BIOS provides startup code for your machine then passes control over to windows.

ok but i never updated BIOS before mostly cuz im too scared to break something and have no idea how to do it. On MSI website they suggest to use their driver download utility(LIVE UPDATE) should i go that way?

and theres 2 BIOS drivers there for the same date and same size which one to pick?
http://ca.msi.com/support/nb/GT70_0ND445US.html#down-bios&Win7 64

the main difference it the SATA mode that the BIOS defaults to.
Most likely you are running your system in AHCI mode, so pick the second one version 10u in the link you posted.

the other one defaults to RAID mode of the SATA controller.

Ive just read on how to update BIOS and people are generally saying if you dont know what you re doing dont do it... which is my case. If i get more errors indicating its the BIOS fault ill most probably have to update it but for now i prefer to live it as is.

Ive run trought every other stuff thought: memorytest86, malwayre and sfx scannow were all good
-got all windows updates
-got intel driver utility
-auto nvidia update
-got intel chipset from msi site
-BIOS(not updated)
-USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 dunno if they re updated cant get drivers from msi site
-tried a few times to get the intel management engine driver it FAILED. (i noticed it stops when it tries to execute msiexec.exe during the installation)
-deleted msi super-charger and overclocking app
- got the wireless and bluethoot driver from intel (dunno if its the same driver for ethernet)

Looked into that driver you asked for its indeed Cyper POWER DVD driver.

ok, but if you don't update the BIOS, then go into the bios and turn off a hardware feature and turn it back on. This will force the BIOS to rescan your hardware and rebuild the database of hardware assignments that it sends to windows.
Windows will use this database to know what/how to configure its hardware drivers.

Sorry im new into this what exact hardware do i disable when i get there cuz i dont see any hardwares there like in Device Manager. And when i disable it do I restart the pc then comeback again and re enable it?

nope, just turn something off and back on. Most BIOS programs are too simple to know that you did not change anything and will just rescan the hardware when you save/exit the BIOS.

I fixed the freezing issue it was the windows audio device graph isolation that kept kicking and taking all ressources. I think it was caused by the nvidia and realtek driver being in conflict so i deleted realtek driver and windows took control of the audio drivers and everything was running smoothly.

Now i got a new BSOD VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE
Heres the minidump https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-gf94MKax2-SWFJUnNzdE16RE0&authuser=0

Here s a link for the KernelLivereport dump
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-gf94MKax2-cF9sdWdQMzZkTkE&authuser=0

Since then Ive updated to the latest nvidia driver uninstalled nvidia audio driver and intel rapid storage.

Im really starting to think the main problem comes from blancing the right audio and video drivers so they dont conflict with each other sicne now NVIDIA also come with audio drivers.

This bugcheck really can not be debugged with a minimemory dump, you have to change the memory dump to a kernel or full memory dump
and run cmd.exe as a admin and run the command
verifier.exe /standard
to tell windows to add tracking info on the device drivers
you also have to reboot to have the memory dump type change to take effect. Then you just run until you get another bugcheck, then post the new much larger memory dump file.
use
verifier.exe /reset
to turn off the extra device driver checking.

if I were to guess, I think the old killer network driver has bugs in it that causes the nvidia streaming software to have problems, and might cause the driver not to respond within it allowed timeout period of 30 seconds. There is a good chance that updating the ethernet driver or disabling the nvidia streaming software would resolve the delay that leads to the bugcheck.

You can also change the timeout from the default 30 seconds to a longer period, but it does not actually fix the problem.

your killer network driver is way out of date
e22w8x64.sys Tue Jul 10 09:29:50 2012
you should get a update:http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=e22w8x64.sys

your intel management engine files are from 2012, you should update from here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
(have the utility scan for the drivers, link was down when I just checked)

you should check to see what this driver is
rikvm_38F51D56.sys Mon May 14 00:49:40 2012
it might be cyberlink power DVD ? update it if you can.

lockups are hard to figure out, you have to run verifier.exe /standard, have memory dump set to full or kernel memory dump. Then you have to set a registry key to allow you to force a memory dump via the keyboard. google "how to use the keyboard to force a memory dump"

if verifier detects a deadlock in a driver it will bugcheck and produce a memory dump and name the driver. Otherwise, the next time your system locks up, you use the keyboard to force a memory dump, then someone can look at it and maybe figure out the problem. Sometimes you can not even get a memory dump if the problem is in your storage system. Most of the time the problem is with a secondary processor like a graphics card, often with a timing problem with the electronics. I have also seen graphics failures because of unrelated problems in other hardware. (usb ports, firmware issues with solid state drives, or CRC errors reading reading from the hard drive)

if you do have problems reading from the storage, sometimes if you delete your pagefile and create another one it might help. best, to disable your virtual memory, unhide your pagefile.sys file rename it to pagefile.old, then re enable your virtual memory so that another is created on a new location of your hard drive.

-how do i change the memory dump to a full one? by simply doing verifier.exe /standard?

-ill update killer network if it doesnt help ill just delete it then. Totally deleted geforce experience.

you should get a update:http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=e22w8x64.s...

-cant find the drivers on the link you posted so i got the Killer Suite from their official website http://www.killernetworking.com/support/driver-download...

your intel management engine files are from 2012, you should update from here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
(have the utility scan for the drivers, link was down when I just checked)

-The utility doesnt detect this then i tried to update it manually it fails. stops at msiexec.exe or something like that

you should check to see what this driver is

-yup thats the power dvd driver but i deleted it anyway
