Hi guys, need your help again...

Recently I upgraded my GPU and I had to buy VGA to DVI-D connector to connect it to my monitor Samsung SyncMaster 225bw...
Everything works just fine but when I shutdown my PC, monitor stays on with message "CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" moving on the screen, and i have to press the power off button on my monitor to "not see it"...I think that my monitor will get broken from constant turning off with button...All I know it is all due to connector, seems monitor doesn't turn off when connected to DVI-D...

Is there any solution to this, so that my monitor turns off with only my power button blinking blue...forth thanks...

How much time I need to wait??...and I noticed that lately from constant pressing power button on and off...when I look from angle of 45 degrees from above I can see every pixel playing on screen, before I could only see darkened screen, now every line in desktop picture on screen shines more than anywhere else on screen, like every Hz out of 60 is visible :D....that's why I am afraid monitor will die...:D

I must use it 'cause my GPU only has two DVI-D ports, and my monitor has VGA on both ends of cable.

Maybe there is a cable that has VGA on one end and DVI-D on the other end...haven't noticed...
