Hey,

I recently added another 770 to my rig and did a benchmark yesterday (The valley)

I looked around the net and found alot of people getting better scores than me, and was wondering if there is something wrong. Here is my specs

GPU1: MSI 770 gaming edition
GPU2: MSI 770 gaming edition
CPU: AMD 8350 (4.5 GHz stock voltage)
CPU køler: Coolermaster v8 GTS
RAM: 2x4 HyperX furry 1666 MHz
MOBO: Asus crosshair v formula (not Z)
PSU: Coolermaster 700G watt bronze 80+
HDD1: 1 TB
HDD2: 500 GB
HDD3: 670 GB
HDD4: 300 GB
SSD: 64 GB
Intake fans: 5x 120 mm
Exhaust fans: 1x 140 mm
Case: NZXT h440 red/black
SLI Bridge: the one that came with my motherboard

Here is a link to my score: http://data01.gratisupload.dk/f/8qnbn7gefr.png ... Seen people with allmost 4000... My cards arent overclocked, and stays at 70-75 degrees while testing.

Solution
you will run into issues with the cards running at different speeds. One card will start to calculate its frames faster then the other card and you will start to see choppy play. When running sli its best to lock both cards to the same speed.
They are probably using Intel i5/i7. The FX chips will hold back SLI and Crossfire rigs quite a bit. See here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/fx-8350-core-i7-3770k-gaming-bottleneck,3407-5.html Battlefield 3 is fine, but the results for Skyrim and F1 are horrible compared to the same setup using an i7. In some cases the Intel chip using the same video cards had performance that was almost double.

These benches were using xfrie 7970's which are pretty much the equivalent of SLI GTX770's.

PS: I would recommed a larger PSU for SLI GTX770's and an FX chip as well. 700w is barely cutting it, and could also be causing you some issues if the cards are not getting the proper power they need.

Top card 1241
Bot card 1230

Coreclock set to + 60
Memory clock set to +350 in afterburner

Ran a new test with those settings and recived 3500 in score :) - same temps since i dident incresed voltage

Sli will make both cards run at the slower of the two speeds. there is a box inside of msi afterburner that you can check that will make both cards run at the same speed when overclocking as well.

Or if you uncheck the box you can force the cards to run at different speeds. I did this with my 580s when playing Star wars the old republic when it was in beta since it didn't support sli, just overclocked the main card and left the second one alone.

The clocks runs the same all the time excpet when the boost clock are setting in - aint that supposed to be a little "out of synch" on the kepler cards with GPU boost? Or am I really wrong xD?
