Hey, I just finished building my first build, and I installed Windows on an SSD. But I want to store everything else on a mechanical hard drive. The hard drive is physically inside the PC, all the wires connected, but when I go to BIOS to set it up, I can't seem to find a way to set up the other hard drive. Any advice?

Welcome to Tom's Hardware community, mugillicutty!

You'd need to go to Disk Management and make the drive accessible through there. Here are a couple of tutorials that will help you do that:
First you'd need to initialize it - http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=E4ZZG4
Afterwards, you need to partition and format it - http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=Ng8gop
Then you should be able to see the drive through My Computer.
If you wish to store your data on the hard drive, you might also want to consider changing the default location from your SSD to the HDD. Here's the how-to: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/redirect-folder-new-location#1TC=windows-7

I hope these work for you! Keep me posted...
