I upgraded 4790K and Z97 few days ago. Wise move?

Hello,
While I love the beast performance, did I rush the upgrade now, in regard to possible release of new intel CPUs ? Or I'm good ?

You are good, the steps between last generations have been very small like 5-7% and we are not expecting that to change anytime soon.

Agreed. Most new Intel CPU's aren't a huge improvement in performance anymore to the point you won't get an increase till the next two generations are launched.
