How much of a performance boost will the 960 give me over the r9 270x

How much of a performance boost will the 960 give me over my current r9 270x 4gb? Will it be able to achieve watch dogs high at 60fps? At the moment I can only get 30fps. Is it worth me paying the extra £80?

Nope, not at all. They're actually pretty closely related in terms of overall performance. The small gains you'd see in terms of tdp, heat and DX12 are small compared to the fact that two 270X 4GB's will perform better at higher resolutions than two 960 2GB's. Should you dual later on.
