I am looking to get a desktop that's got a little more memory and a little more speed when it comes to video editing, gaming, and image editing. (I only currently have my gateway laptop, basically the laptop I've had since forever). I have a limited budget and am extremely new to building a computer/simply choosing one that doesn't suck, however I still want a good computer that'll last awhile. I know I want dual monitors, because I'm most comfortable using the extra screen space, and I don't know if that matters in choosing computer specs but again, I'm very new to the whole idea. I've been using my crappy laptop for work, school, and fun, and it's starting to hurt my laptop. I get the blue screen of death much too often for me to believe this computer is still in good condition.

Either way, I also want a new laptop. That price isn't included in the $1500 for the desktop, because I'm going to wait a little while before I do get a laptop. I just want one that I can use for all the same stuff, but less so, and in a portable fashion.

I'm easing my way into the indie game designing as well, and am currently taking cpp programming classes in my free time, and graphic design. So I would like these computers (if not the laptop as well, then just the desktop) to be able to support me in this.

So a recap: I want a good desktop computer (that I'd prefer not to have to build myself) that is dual monitor and greatly supports video/image editing, and gaming. And a laptop that supports that on a milder scale, as portability is more important. I don't really want to get a mac because I have trouble using other people's macs. I'm used to my comfortable windows computer. HOWEVER if a mac would better suit my needs (as i dont know) then I am willing to look into it.

thanks!

Blurry, Was there supposed to be information here? All I saw was a blank parts list.
