1066mhz in 1333, 1600 mobo?

hi, i got an old computer that i want to upgrade a little bit, the ram it got its M378B5673FH0-CF8 1066mhz ddr3 and i want to buy a z87 mobo, the mobo supports DDR3 3000(OC)/2933(OC)/2800(OC)/2666(OC)/2600(OC)/2500(OC)/2400(OC)/2200(OC)/2133(OC)/2000(OC)/1866(OC)/1800(OC)/1600/1333

so my question is, will my ram work with the new mobo?

Yes. They just see no reason to list memory of that speed in their specs. But it will work fine.

thanks. i was asking because i wanted to buy a mobo from TD that was on sale, but i didnt want to spend to much to upgrade my pc. at the end i didn't jump on the deal since i would have to buy a case and cpu. the deal was on the asus z87-a for $29 and z87 pc mate for $20 both refurb.

You always take your chances with a refurb. My experience over the years has been mostly satisfactory, but I have had several disappointments too. Be sure any refurbs have a money-back warranty.
