Hello everyone,

I really want to know what are CUDA cores? Are they best suited for a specific purpose? And is the Titan X is excellent for 3D development and gaming?

FYI, I don't plan into buying a 4k monitor in my entire life. I'm more than happy playing games at 1080p and 1440p.

Thank you for your time.

"CUDA (after the Plymouth Barracuda), which stands for Compute Unified Device Architecture, is a parallel computing platform and programming model created by NVIDIA and implemented by the graphics processing units (GPUs) that they produce"

just a processing core really... Titan X isnt really aimed at work station actually.. If you need to do 3d rendering, a qudro maybe a better option

@Bossyfins but the Titan X is much cheaper than the Quadro at a price of $999. I totally understand that the Quadro is much better, but the Titan X should also be good for 3D rendering rather than just for gaming. What do you think of the Titan X? is it good for 3D rendering?
