What headset is better, the Kingston hyperx cloud 2 or the turtle beach px22?

without getting into mod-mic stuff, the hyperx one is regarded as the best gaming HEADSET you can buy. for a $100, its a great value, but the mic quality it hit dramatically, because of its low price. i personally own an Audio-Technica ATH-M50X, and plan to stick a mod-mic to it sometime, (and granted it costs over twice as much), but the quality of the sound and the mic is just unbeatable for the price.

I think you should go for the HyperX Cloud 2. I have a pair and they are SPECTACULAR. The mic does not suffer that much IMHO and they are well worth the $100 and sometimes, they are on sale. Therefore, I feel that the HyperX Cloud 2s are a better option that the Turtle Beach PX22s. That said I have not tried the PX22s and they might have some magical talent inside that I do not know about. The best way is to go to your local audio shop and try both on. However, if you are like me and live in a country that does not bring brands like HyperX and Turtle Beach in that much (Singapore), the next best option is to look up reviews on the internet and see what they feel about it. I recommend sites such as PCmag, Trustedreviews and Kotaku.
