One thing is certain, they will never run at 1600 MHz on your mobo: it barely supports 1333MHz (and even that via OC only), and no XMP support.

Therefore, try the following:

- reset the CMOS by removing the mobo battery for a few minutes or using a jumper on CLR_CMOS pins
- try with only 1 new RAM stick, not both. Then just the other one. If you cannot get any of them to work alone, and after CMOS clearing, it is likely game over and you will have to get a different brand of (slower - 1333MHz) DDR3 RAM. Try to get something that is validated for your mobo by the manufacturer's QVL list (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5G41TM_LX/HelpDesk_QVL/)
- RAM timings, speed and likely even voltage in BIOS should be adjusted to match the...

- do not mix new RAM with old RAM, this will likely introduce more problems
