Solid-State Drive Recommendations

So I've been doing a bit of upgrading in anticipation of some future game releases and I really need some more storage space since my current SSD is only 128 GB. I'm looking to get a 256 GB SSD drive and hook it up alongside the 128 GB, but I have no idea what to look for, what brands to stay away from, etc...

Best SSDs For The Money: March 2015

Aside from that list, any current SSD from Sandisk, Samsung, Crucial, Mushkin, Kingston, Patriot, or Intel will be reliable. Gaming doesn't put a heavy workload on the SSD, so the difference between the performance drives and the budget drives is somewhat marginal.

When you compare Cost/Performance/Storage Space, one of the best drives available is the Samsung 850 EVO. The 850 EVO also comes with a 5 year warranty, while most other drives only have 2 or 3 year warranties. If you're willing to spend a bit more, the 850 Pro is a faster drive and comes with a full 10 year warranty.
