How do I change Windows 8.1 32-bit to 64-bit, help please?

I installed Windows 8.1 32-bit using the CD on my computer but I realized it would not fit my needs later so I want to change it to Windows 8.1 64-bit but I don't understand how to do it. Can anyone help please?
I have the CD for the 64-bit as well.

I've been trying but when I put in the CD for the 64-bit it just goes straight to the normal home screen. Is there something I am forgetting to do?

Going from 32 bit to 64 bit requires a full re-installation of the Operating System. There is no ability to upgrade or migrate.

So you need to backup important documents, and then boot from the 64 bit installation media and follow the prompts.
