netgear worked well for several months and then stoopped working. the computer would not read the program (netgear) at all. uninstalled and then reinstalled the netgear program...computer still will not read it. no other issues with my computer. Acer / windows 8.1

sorry...netgear wireless adapter......i believe wna 3100 (don't have it with me). The app appears on screen but when i hit it ... it seems to start and then Nothing! When the adapter is plugged in per the disc instructions...it does not read it at all.
