I have recently changed my broadband provider to BT infinity getting 75Mb dl speed and 20Mb ul speed.

Before I was on a standard broadband getting 15Mb dl speed and 1Mb ul speed.

The problem is i was using some ON Network 200Mbps homeplug's around the house for different things and speed was same throughout the house at 15Mb dl speed. Now I have BT infinity I have noticed my pc 2 floors above the router in the office is only getting 25Mbps dl speed tops and 4Mbps ul speed with the 200mbps ON Network homeplugs :pfff:

So what I want to know is if I get these ZyXEL PLA5206 1000 Mbps Powerline Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Twin Pack off amazon with them being a Gigabit connection will that allow me to get at least above 50Mbps and even if im lucky the full 75Mbps dl speed?

I think its the 200Mbps ON Network homeplugs that is causing this speed bottle neck as the homeplugs both have green lights and not amber or red light to say its a bad quality line.

Any help appreciated..

Ive never had good experiences wtih Zyxel products, just not the best quality.

I would get the TP-LINK 600 mpbs adapter like the smallnetbuilder site suggests.
Even the 500mbps adapters should get you around 70mbps across the house on a different breaker and phase.
