Should I overclock?

Hi I do not know very much about computers when it comes to overclocking / technical and wondering if I need and upgrade / overclock something for gaming.

Solution
Assuming that your motherboard allows the CPU multiplier to be adjusted, you should only overclock up to the Turbo Boost speed of the CPU. Whilst you can push that further with FSB overclocking, I wouldn't recommend it, as this adversely affects the other components in your PC.

At the end of the day, overclocking isn't worth your time with your current CPU.
