Hey guys, I need a little help trying to diagnose this problem I am having with my first build. Everything has been running great since I built it then all of a sudden 2 days ago I go to boot it up and I get this beeping from the motherboard "ASUS VI FORMULA" and it tells me "Anti Power surge during previous power on" & "CPU voltage & CPU fan error" due to an unstable power supply.

I am able to get into the bios but that's about it. I have already replaced the power supply unit "Seasonic 860" but the problem still persist. I am guessing my next step would need to be to replace the cpu cooler "CORSAIR H100i" but just looking for a little more direction on trying to get this solved. I appreciate any help and thank you guys in advance.

The motherboard code I am getting from the formula is "A2"

Specs:Asus Vi Formula/ i7 4770k/ Seasonic 860/ GTX 770 SC/ 8GB Dominator 2133/ Samsung SSD

If the CPU cooler is nonstandard then go into the BIOS and find the fan control setting, try lowering the threshold for the warning as it maybe thinks the fan is spinning too slowly.

Go into the BIOS and see what voltage the CPU is running at, then if it's too high try setting it lower manually. Not sure what the standard is, 1.2v? Failling that try flashing the BIOS

Thank you, Asus advised me to clear the CMOS or check the battery. I don't think this is the problem but I'm going to change out the battery in case and see the voltages in the bios, thank you.

I was able to get the PC up and running. I wen't into the bios and as suggested changed it so the motherboard ignores the anti surge and the CPU fan speed. The motherboard code wen't away as it's now "AO" which I believe means everything is fine. Should I be concerned as there might be a underlining problem?? here are the readings from AI suite for what it's worth. Some of the case fans are not reading because they are unplugged at the moment "side door fans". I do appreciate the help, thank you guys very much. btw...it's saying my MB temp is (-57) ???

Sorry can't see the picture clearly as I'm on my phone.

If you set the voltage manually then I would leave the surge protection on. Assuming it will start. If it still says surge protection kicked in then you may have a problem

The CPU voltage was fluctuating up and down really fast would go as low as 1.5 to 3.8 and back and fourth. It didn't seem right so I just shut it down and will change out the CMOS battery and while I'm at it change out the CPU cooler see if indeed that was the problem all along. Thank you for your help once again.
