PSU placement: Fan towards bottom, or top?

Hey, i am having a dilemma: up until now i have installed the PSU with the fan pointed on top of the case [i need to mention that i have a bottom-mounted PSU], and i am wondering if i should mount it towards the bottom of it. I have about 1.5 centimeters space below the case, and the supporting legs can't be extended. Should i do it? Will it help?

I don't have any liquid cooling, so i need to keep a proper airflow and pressure inside the case. And yes, i do have a good cable management, no wires hanging around.

If you have a ventilation grill at the bottom of the case the fan faces down.

I do have a ventilation grill at the bottom of the case, and i don't have any carpets underneath it, but the small space between the case's floor and room's floor worries me.

I will try to mount it downwards, will reply with results.

I tried flipping it, but the CPU power cable was too short, and i couldn't do it without having to plug the cable on the front, without proper cable management, so i left it the way it was.
