MSI AMD 280X or XFX Black DD R9 280X??

They will be pretty similar in build quality and cooling. I really like the look of the XFX so i would choose that personally but they are both great cards you cant go wrong with either.

well as with all this stuff you choose one you feel is right for you and then you run it .. it will work as expected or it don't .. just read up on the end users reviews to get a feel of what they say

As far as i can tell, ASUS, MSI and other brand partners are not appearing to be selling 280x models. (newegg.com). You may have found one elsewhere, but if not, I fully back the quality and lifetime warranty of our XFX 280x, if you have any issues or questions, call us at 800 880 3225.

not to say xfx is bad or anything like that but I do see way more hit and miss as far as there cooling is concerned - to me that's the one thing that stands out over the rest [sorry ]

well what case ?? as you can see with AMD there cards can be long and you may find that a issue ?? dd = Card Dimensions (L x H)11.61" x 5.63"
over all its not a good time for vid card shopping AMD is cutting away there old stock for there soon to be released 300 cards NVidia sits there with there 900 cards and there issues -- too much for me up in the air on a new card ...
