Did you get the laptop that way(is it a new one)?
As you are facing some HDD issue, I would advise you to back up the data that is stored on it until you sort it out.
Apart from that, you need to go to Disk Management and see how the drive appears over there and whether it has some unallocated space. If it has, you can just extend the partition.
If it has no unallocated space, you need to go to BIOS. If the drive shows as 30.2 gb over there, then most probably there is something wrong with the drive itself. It will not hurt to update your SATA drivers I guess(from your MOBO's website).
