I've got 3 AMD A4-5300 basic systems. All identical. ASRock FM2A75M-DGS, 4gb, 320gb HD.

Their original purpose was just web browsing, Facebook and Minecraft, and have been more than adequate for that.

Now one user wants to start doing screen recording. Income is VERY limited right now. So I realize that such a small upgrade with only $50 is going to be negligible, but I really want to bump it up, even a small amount. All 3 machines will be going to 8gb of RAM over the next several months and hopefully/probably 120gb SSDs for the main/boot drive as I can catch one on sale/with a rebate from time to time.

I know some will have the sentiment to hold off and just save the $50 and add to it later, but I really would like to do something now unless the two options below will have 0% improvement for screen recording and/or a small increase in FPS. And I know going to 8gb will be a big improvement for recording, but as mentioned, that is coming, just not today.

So that said, for now, please:

Will a 1gb HD5450 DDR3 PCI-E card give any advantage to the integrated Radeon 7480D on the APU, seeing how it will free up the shared ram? (I have the 5450 already from another PC.)

If the 5450 will not make any difference, will going to an A6-5400K APU be a noticeable bump?

Or is there a $50 card that would be a noticeable bump along with the A4-5300?

Thank you for your time.
