gpu: hd 6670

i was thinking of gtx 660, gtx 660ti, r9 270 or r9 270x
but i'm not sure if i can run it and which one is more compatible with my specs

sorry for the late reply, i searched about the psu, found out that its a generic xD, it says 580watt, 31A on 12volts, brand Power Choice, i can't find anything on its pcie

so only considering my mobo and cpu, is r9 280 the best choice

I highly recommend getting a better PSU, even for $40 online you can get a reputable PSU. The last thing you want is to blow up your brand new graphics card. As for a graphics card, I'm very happy with my gtx 760 if you can get a good deal, but it is out performed by the 280. Just depends on the kind of deal you can get.

No way get a GTX960 if you like Nvidia or wait a month or 2 for the new AMD series to come out. R9 280 is a bad choice imo. Personally I like Nvidia but I've heard a lot of good things about the 300 series from AMD.

He cant afford a gtx 980, and there is nothing wrong with AMD cards.

Well, you could wait a couple months for the 370x, however those specs and price are not confirmed. also, the 270x and rumored 370x use the same amount of power.

R9 280 or gtx 960...both are good...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyYvoQPYPbs

Watch video for comparison...they are close performance wise...biggest advantage with 960 is power consumption
