This is my first PC build and I've had it since May of last year. So what happens is at any given time while I'm watching a stream and playing a game my computer will just freeze/hang and I can't use the mouse or keyboard and I have to hard reset it. This has been happening for the passed couple months now. I always use Firefox and I even tried using chrome before and it still froze.

PC specs: not overclocked.

i7 4770k cpu
msi z87-G45 mobo
16 GB G skill ram 2133
120 GB SSD Samsung 840 evo(for the OS)
1 TB WD blue for everything else.
500 GB SSD samsung 840 evo for games
MSI GTX 780 3GB
Corsair ax760W PSU
Windows 7 professional.

What error are you getting after it crashes? Go into windows event logs and click critical. It sounds like either kernel event power 41 or display driver has stopped responding.

The first option I'm going to offer is reinstall your video card drivers. Download the latest ones from nvidia's website. See if that fixes your problem.

I'll offer more solutions after I know which error you're getting.
