In CoD: Advanced Warfare on PC, a few times a game, all of a sudden gunfire stops and people will be froze in midair or running in place while i can still move around and shortly after that it will put me in my correct place because of the lag. Been happening for the past week and I don't know of anything I have changed. Disabled antivirus for 1 game to see if that was the problem but nope. Its annoying and any solutions will help.

Your problem is that games lag for many reasons and they blame network all the time. I have seen people say they fixed their ping time by adjusting video settings....that is almost crazy but does make sense when you take into account it is the game itself telling you it has high ping times rather than external program.
First step is to load the resource monitor and make sure you are not seeing cpu,memory or disk issues at those times.
After this is might be a network issue. Obviously you can't be running on wireless since you get random issues all the time. You are best off running continuous ping commands from a different machine in your house to some common server like 8.8.8.8 or 4.2.2.2. If this external machine shows issues at the same time then you have a real network issue but detecting it and fixing it are 2 different thing completely.
