Hello,

Recently I attempted to overclock my cpu, however whenever I do so, either my system won't boot up (it will shut itself off to change the bios settings to the overclocked settings, but it will constantly turn on fora few seconds then off then on, etc.) Also sometimes I get the BSOD when I have it overclocked. My overclocking settings were fine, I just don't understand why I keep getting these multiple errors whenever I overclock. I even ran a stress test on my system but as soon as I activated prime95 I got the BSOD. If someone can please help me with my situation it would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
asus z87 pro
i7 4770k 3.5ghz turbo 4.3ghz

asus gtx 780 directcu2 OC

If you dont know why your system wouldnt boot after overclocking or even why you would get a bsod then I suggest you do ALOT of reading on how to overclock the right way wile your system is at stock clocks. If you continue to just throw random settings at your cpu you will fry it.
