bios update, no post.

hi guys, time ago I updated the bios on my old pc from a bootable usb and the mobo died. any chance to recover it? I really don't want to spend 10 euros for a new bios. already tried reset jumper, pullin battery n stuff. when I turn it on no beeps, only a green light and fans spinnig. tried my q9400, e6600, e6750, different ram and gpu but nothing. even tested the caps, they are all fine.

motherborad is s p5ql pro and yes I wanna save it

Have you tried running it without any ram installed just to see if you get beeps then?

motherboard model? some have a recover from usb option, others (gigabytes) have dual bios whihc should auto kick in and recover from the previous version in case of update failure

was the usb flash formatted to fat32?

I said mobo is a p5ql pro from asus, and yes it was fat 32, tried different ports and usbs. didn't try without ram.

You know that when you reset jumpers you have to start the PC in between? - If not try it again please. Also try running it without ram and see if you get the beeps.

If you don't get the beeps there is a good chance your motherboard is bricked.
