Ever since I got this USB adapter, it randomly disconnects from my Wifi and no matter if I try to unplug it, reboot it, it'll never reconnect. The only way I used to get it to reconnect was by forcing a shut down because when I try to shut down normally, it stays stuck on the Shutting Down screen. So I'd just hold the button until it shut off.

Lately I found out that if I press reset, after a good long while it'll reboot itself but only after showing me a BSOD! What's going on? Is this a driver issue or something? I'm worried about this!

Solution
i would go into windows control panel, find device manager, find the USB power options and tell the system not to put the USB hub to sleep.
I would do the same for the actual USB device, then I would look for a updates.

generally, for a usb device: you want to update the BIOS, the CPU chipset driver, the external USB 3.0 chipset driver and the driver for the actual USB device. (be sure to remove the old driver for the USB device)
