Exactly what the title says, which m.2sata ssd would be the best for the Lenovo Y510p. I want to keep my 750 GB harddrive in there for more storage, and I do not want to remove the second GPU I have so the only option for me is to get a m.2sata ssd. I know that the Lenovo Y510p can be picky with which ones you can and can't use. So which one should I get? I was thinking a Samsung SSD as the seem to be the best in the m.2 form factor. Also where would I get the screw for the m.2sata SSD?

hello there i have personally only ever owned intel and samsung 2.5 inch SSD's and i know they both make M.2 drives i have had my laptop a month now and bought a crucial mx200 drive but when it came it was the wrong length so i had to send back now im waiting on my refund theres a new samsung 850 evo coming out at the end of the month but im getting impatient lol, so im the same boat as you, i looked on amazon and the transcend M.2 drives all get great reviews but ive never used one hope this helps good luck on your search

Do you have any idea where you can buy the screw to hold it in place for the Lenovo Y510p?

ya know i think those drives use a similar screw like the ones that are on the bottom of your laptop which you need to remove to access the ram and other stuff etc but im not sure M.2 is so new there isnt much info about it yet hope this helps
