The issue I'm facing is my computer restarting during gaming, I've been playing AC; Rogue all day and I booted up dying light and my computer went to a coloured screen (Varies for some reason?) after about a minute and restarted, I'n unsure as to why but I assume it may be my PSU? It happens with AC; Unity too, I've tried using different RAM, to no effect, I'm stumped.

Advice, please?

my guess is that it's the psu, are you running it with with the intake fan facing down on carpet? the weird thing is that most power supply's will alert you when they start reaching there max operating temp. You could also be maxing out the wattage on your power supply. I wouldn't have thought that a 520w power supply could run a gtx 970. when gaming you could be maxing out the wattage of your psu and that could be forcing a restart. sorry Ben, that's all i've got. Hope you can find your problem :D

Its on a wooden desk, the chassis is the normal way up, all fans face outwards so I must assume as much, and it's weird, I guess shitty ports are the problem, not had a problem with Rogue seeing as they took a while to flatten it out, but a game like Dying Light seems to suck up my Watts, and take all my CPU power! Thanks anyway man.

Yes, it is likely the PSU. 520w is sufficient for a 970 if it's delivering what it claims it is. I cannot find any information on that PSU brand, so I'm not sure how reliable it is (although given that there's not a lot of info on it, that should tell you something about that brand).

Have you checked your temp under load? (when running these games or at benchmark) If the issue is not with temp, then it is highly likely its the PSU, and given the weird colors you are getting before the automatic restart, I am leaning towards the issue being that the PSU is not providing sufficient power on the 12v rail, which the GPU uses.

I think its a problem with my CPU as well, it gets to about 70% usage, (I checked through task manager so I'm hoping its accurate) and then it seems to shut down, although when I play rogue it doesn't seem to go above 50%, so I'm guessing I'm not getting enough watts to power all my components once my computer gets a little stressed. Definitely going to pick up a new one, I'm thinking cx750m corsair PSU, but my chassis isn't that big, which means more problems if the PSU is large; but thank-you :)
