using the free 3dmark on steam

Im getting 3000 less score then others with identical systems and i am very confused to why?

anyone on here willing to troubleshoot my problems?

Solution
You really should at least tell us what your system is, what your score is, and links to other's scores.
But in general, you need to make sure your GPU and CPU are running at their advertised clock speeds while the test is running, and make sure your RAM is running in dual channel mode.

apart from changing the ram settings via BIOS i assume the CPU and GPU activate full power on there own?

No, if they are not properly cooled they will automatically thermally throttle (i.e. run at a lower clock speed to stop them overheating). You should run both a CPU temperature monitoring app (e.g. SpeedFan) and GPU-Z (click on the sensors tab), and check to see what sort of GPU usage you are getting (also temps, clock speeds, etc).
