Access 2007 not responding only on windows 8 computers on the network. windows 7 computers are working fine.

I have a network of 7 computers of which 4 have windows 7 and 3 have windows 8. All of the windows 7 computers run office 2007 just fine. One of the windows 8 runs it with a few problems. I just added another new computer with windows 8 and every time I have it to look anything up in access I get "not responding" Please help
 
Are any of those machines running RT versions of Windows 8. If so, RT doesn't support full apps. Windows RT 8.1 only runs built-in apps or apps that you download from the Windows Store.

If they're not RT versions, it's possible you need to install compatibility updates by running windows update with the additional update support enabled so windows update will look for office updates as well.

Are the applications running from a remote server or are they all installed locally on each machine?
