Recently as in these past 2 days my processor has reached temperatures of 65c and beyond in about 10 mins of playing far cry 4, this did not happen in the past. Is 65c a dangerous temp and could the change have to do with new hardware like GPU? thanks. If you need more info ask.

Solution
Yes, if you didn't put new thermal paste on then that could be your problem. You should never take a liquid cooler block (or any CPU block for that matter) off the cpu and still use the same paste, it will allow air bubbles to get in and hinder your cooling significantly.

So 80c is a max, asus warns me at 65c

Well technically, 95% of CPUs have a thermal max of 95-105C. However you don't want to be anywhere near that if possible, that's why I say 80C.

However, that is a H60, that should be cooling better than that. Try getting some new thermal paste and uping the fan rpm.

The rpm is max on the fans, it might be because i upgraded my GPU and im getting more fps so im using my cpu more? I have also recently taken the cooling block off and placed it back on, could that have messed the thermal paste up?
