Since, you've already stated that you wont switch to intel, i would say your build is good other than the processor choice and cooler choice, just get an 8320 and OC it, 8370E is 60 dollars extra for the same processor. Pay around 10-20 dollars more for an h100i which is much better than the h80i.

Also imo the mobo is complete overkill for a build in this price range, you could save some money there without sacrificing OC capabilities.

Is there any mobos you recommend that is red? Im trying to do a theme build. And how much is my current one you think?

Its a regular 970 board and not 990fx, you will lack features and OC capabilities. Unfortunately support for AM3+ is getting lower so they no longer sell there 990fx version of that in black/red.

I went with the 8320E and the corsair h100i im getting this error tho saying: Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.

and this: Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs.

what does this mean?

You have to check the specific mobo to see if it needs a bios update to use the FX. The clearance thing is a non issue for you since your using an AIO cooler.

Craigslist (or ebay) only counts if that is what it actually sold for. Not what they are asking.

You can spend 600 on new parts and have a better PC than what you listed, i would still say 400 at the most for your system.

$350 to $400 sounds fair. That's assuming that anyone wants to buy it at all. It's tough to sell whole used systems. Parting it out might be the only way to get rid of it, but all of it might also not sell.

OP, you really have to sweeten the deal on used PC parts (ie, lower the price a ton). The parts are used, which automatically drops their value quite a bit, and the buyer doesn't get a warranty or any ability to return all of part of the purchase if they change their mind or something.

EDIT: I actually just built your current PC on Newegg for $667 before rebates. Even $400 would be pushing it, but you might as well try. Just be prepared to go much lower than you'd like.

If the selling price isn't worth it to you, you could always turn it into a multimedia PC or use it for streaming (if you stream).
