Hello!
I bought a new ram memory to kind of upgrade my deskpot pc until I get a new one
the ram I bought is a 4gb kingston to add together with my old one kingston 4gb

When I install the new one together with the old ram, the pc frezes at the BIOS screen ( where you have to press f2/spr/etc), doesnt matter in which socket the RAMS are b1 or b2

When I use just the new one I can load the BIOS normally, but if i continue after that it goes black screen after the windows logo, no sound or anything

New RAM: KVR16N11S8/4 ; 1600, 4GB Kinston
Old ram: KVR1333D3N9/4G; 1333, 4GB Kingston both work at 1.5v
MOBO: Asrock h55m-le, which has a max support of 8 GB ram dual channel, supports 1600/1333/1066 and 1800+ overclocking
BIOS: 1.8 which is the last one for this mobo apparently..

Is there any way to make this new RAM memory to work?
How can I check if its damaged if I dont get to boot windows and I dont have another deskpot pc to check?

also sorry for my ugly english :<

Hi Stunah,
The new memory part number KVR16N11S8/4 is not compatible with the AsRock H55M-LE motherboard. The new memory is a Single Rank or high density 4GB memory module and the H55 chipset does not support high density 4GB memory modules and requires low density 4GB memory modules. We no longer support that motherboard as we no longer manufacture memory that is compatible with it.

Thank you for choosing Kingston memory,
