Ok so i havent changed anything i just installed a i7-4790k and in bios with the new MB, it reads 1.037 voltage for cpu and its on auto. thats how it came. Is that too high? Should i change it like to 1.025-1.027? thanks

Solution
Leave the voltage alone for now. Start by taking the unlocked CPU clock multiplier up a click at a time. Save, reboot and run a stress test while watching temps. If all is good, repeat. You should get quite high on just the multi alone. When it fails the stress test, then it is time to start increasing the vcore a tiny bit at a time. No more than .005v at a time. That will get you a basic good OC. For more depth in the subject, you need to read some OC'ing guides. And have LOTS of patience.
