I'm going to build a server to host game servers on since host are PRICY:( \. I don't wanna break the bank since I just got the alienware 13 maxed out with amp. But I need it have A lot of ram since minecraft servers use a lot of ram. Please try to get it under 600-700

I used to host a 30 slot server with a couple of mods and it never really used more than 8 GB's of ram, so 16 might be overkill.

You could definitely get by with 8. I just wasn't sure how many spots OP needed .

Internet speed is also a large factor. Ideally, a connection with low latency and high upload and download speeds would be used.
