So recently i found a graphics card that i am goin to buy, however i need an opinion from the community to see if it is the choice for me, im told for my motherboard it will work, but i wanna be 100% Sure.

My current motherboard is a EVGA X58 ftw3

The graphics card i am buying is a EVGA Geforce 750 TI

For more info on the card, here is the link to newegg.

My old graphics card was a GTX 560TI, so im upgrading, clearly, and this graphics card is compared between a GTX 550 and a 660, im prollly just being paranoid and alot of people tell me a GTX 970 would run on this motherboard, but id rather be sure so, please answer soon!

not much of an upgrade really .
huge difference in terms of power consumption , but only a few percent gain in terms of performance .
if you want to see real performance difference you need at least cards like 270x/280/285/gtx960 .

and yes , you could run even gtx 970 on your motherboard .
but is it worth it ? it depends on your processor ,
amount of memory you are using and the resolution of your screen .

Well the reason im buying this card is mostly due to money, a GTX 900 series would cost me more then i currently possess, but you answered my question, i can run it on my Motherboard, i also appreciate your input on what would be much better and what i need to take into account if i wanted to get a massive performance difference, thank you!
