I just build a new Gaming PC from, and this is my first gaming PC. Everything seems fine until i wanted to connect the PC to the internet.
my MOBO is ASrock z97, and the the driver is Killer network management.

I have a modem/router from Motorola in my living room, and i have an ethernet cape access in my room which my computer is in.

When i try to connect it tells that the IP is unidentified, and the network is unidentified, and it does not connect. i invested a lot of money and time in this PC, and I am very eager to use it and that is making me kind of desperate.

Thank you

ok imma need you to do some things try the ethernet cable in a different computer or console to test see if there is a connection if you still get no luck it could be a fault within your cable another way to find out if it is your cable is if you have a spare ethernet cable around that does work try that. If your cable works on another computer or console then it could be either something wrong with your mobo ethernet adapter
