What is the best processor I can get for gaming under $200?

Hello all, I am looking to upgrade my processor soon and I was wondering what the best one was. I use my computer for gaming mostly but I would like to do some video editing on it as well. I am upgrading from an AMD Phenom ii x4 965. I am really looking for something to boost my performance so I am willing to spend a little more for a better one if it doesn't break the bank. Thanks!

Your board is not a good board for FX 8 core so using that board I suggest max FX6300. Swapping boards I suggest going with Intel I5 and suitable board but what exactly would be based on budget and remember you can sell of your old bits.
