Hello friends, i've recently been planning on upgrading my desktop computer into a gaming one by installing a new graphics card in it, an Xfx r7 260x 1gb, and i'm worried that once i install it my 300w stock powersupply might not support it. My question is if i need to get a new powersupply with higher watt power.

thanks.

Haha yeah, it wasn't even a high quality one. Delta Electronics or something, so little known that they didn't even make it onto the PSU tier list.

I bought the card as a floor model for £50 from PC World, slapped it into my build replacing a dreadful HD 5450 and crossed my fingers. I was speechless when my monitor finally blinked into life.

delta electronics is in fact one of the best psu manufacturers on the planet .
even their budget units are usually very decent quality .
they are capable to outdo seasonic or super flower with some of their high end designs .

Oh really? That's quite cool. I have a spare Delta 250W and a 460W lying around. Might keep hold of them then!
