At what point does an FX-6300 start bottlenecking GPUs?

It all depends on the game you're playing really. what kind of games do you play? Foe example sandbox games like minecraft and space engineers are very cpu heavy but no so much gpu heavy so you can get away with a lower end gpu as long as you have a decent cpu. But things like first person shooters like farcry or battelfield are very gpu heavy and don't rely on the cpu as much so you're better off getting a good gpu and you can savce a bit of money on the cpu
