Triple LCD Monitor Stand Desktop Clamp Holds up to 24" Widescreen Displays. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0034PUWNS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1LTZIGIPVSHBN&coliid=I2UH1BLKQEMC56

I'm looking for something that has the ability to clamp and tighten to a desk, adjustable arms and height, is well balanced and can hold up 3 23" monitors fairly easily. I have a 58" (147cm) desk going across, and I don't necessarily want the monitors to have too much curvature but some. My point is, is what I picked out a good choice? Are there any buyers of this product out there that can give a review of it? If you have other suggestions, I'd like to stay under $100. Thank you!

i've used a similar 6-monitor one from Tyke (model 76A) with solid curved arms. they're fine, but i've noticed a few things:

1 - you need a SOLID desk for that clamp, because there will be some torsion from the weight of the monitors
2 - you lose a ton of space between the back of the monitor and the wall for all those mounting knuckles, i'd say 8" to 12" of depth used up
3 - those pivoting knuckles on each monitor are hard to adjust "just right". for 3 it might be acceptable, for 6 it was a pain in the butt
4 - mounting directly to a wall (self-made scheme) is the best, my mount is collecting dust in storage

1. I have a very solid desk for the clamp; it's about 2" thick.
2. How does it use up so much depth?
3. I bet it would be much easier to adjust with 3 monitors.
4. I can't drill holes into the wall.

1 - as long as it's 2" of solid wood and not a budget surface from ikea or something.
2 - the rotating / pivoting part alone is a good 4" deep, then add another 2" just for the column diameter, and around 1" space between the back of the column and the wall (you can see how it all adds up on the center monitor in this image below). plus you have to account for the bending arm itself (on mine, it was a track that let me slide the left/right monitors instead of a pivot like in this one). if your desk isn't deep enough, the monitors will end up right in your face when you're at the keyboard. if your desk is 36" deep then this might not be much of an issue, but something in the 24-30" deep range would suck.

at the price listed, though, it's probably worth a shot. i paid just over $200 for the one i got (including shipping to canada, which is never cheap). i think my monitors weigh 10 pounds each, so 6 of them made for quite a hefty setup.
