Hey guys,

I'm looking for a solid keyboard and mouse for under $75 dollars total. They don't need to be a combo they can be separate as long as they fit the budget. I'm a bit of an aesthetics guy so looks do matter (I would prefer some sort of colored backlight on the keyboard). If you could find a solid mechanical board that would be great but I'm fine with membrane. Using this for all sorts of different games from FPS to simulation to whatever I get screwed into buying during Steam's sales:pt1cable: Thanks for the help guys.

At $75, you put yourself at a strange price point in terms of peripherals. You don't allow yourself enough money to purchase a mechanical keyboard and you exceed the price of most membrane keyboards. Regardlesss, here are soem recomendations:

An excellent value for good-looking and functional peripherals.

My current mouse. It performs well and is extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

As for mechanical keyboards, you're looking at about $100 once you narrow it down to backlit models. Do you want me to recommend you some or is this too far out of your budget?

I'm sorry but I can only recommend a mouse as the keyboard I would recommends costs $149.99. It's an A4tech Bloody v7 (costs around $27-$30), it has two customizable macro keys on its left, three modes (used for shooter games), feels very good and what sets it apart from most mouse out there is its "holeless engine", you could place your mouse anywhere (bed, the top of your system unit, your own skin) and it would still respond like it's on a mouse pad plus its holeless engine ensures that no dusts can enter your mouse. My bloody v7 came with free plates and its ultra core 3 activated. For its durability, I dropped it multiple times from a 2.5-3 feet computer table all the way down and it's still working as the first day I bought it.

Although I plan to buy its wireless version and use that mouse for traveling, I think its the best mouse for wireless use as you could use it on any surface.

Oh and I forgot you could pick a variant from v1-v8 (they all have the same specs so don't worry)
